Group Supervision
Group supervision with colleagues can be an extremely helpful process that can enhance team connections, trust, understanding and skill sharing. This is an essential aspect of working in a team environment and to help reduce the impact of work stresses ranging from burnout to vicarious traumatisation.
As an experienced facilitator I have worked in diverse workplaces providing group supervision to counsellors, maternal child health nurses, GP’S, local councils, services working with issues of family violence and AID’S Councils (Victoria and Canberra).
The needs of the team will be carefully considered to find the right balance between my role as consultant and resourcing the team. At times it can also be useful to provide articles for the group before the group’s sessions as a way of exploring specific issues and needs of the team to facilitate further understanding.
